Every company needs its “North Star.” For emerging HR solutions startup Sprout, it’s “impacting the life of every Filipino by improving business in the Philippines.” Now that might sound like a lofty ambition, but when you focus on a field as ubiquitous as human resource management, it all makes sense.
“It’s really designed to be the people-platform for the Philippines’ future of work,” explains Patrick Gentry, who co-founded the company with his wife, Alexandria. Sprout, known for their timekeeping and payroll software, recently launched its ecosystem — an all-in-one suite of services that enable businesses to bring its people experience to the next level with analytics, engagement, performance and learning management, recruitment automation, and benefits like salary advance and wellness services.

Since its founding in 2015, Sprout has raised several rounds of funding and garnered a vast client base that includes foodpanda, Ayala Land, and Canva.
