Color Trend 2015: Express your personality through color

MANILA, Philippines – Color is a way of life. Other than to spruce up a home or bring life to a space it can also be used to express one’s self and represent a certain personality.

Johnson Ongking, Vice President of Pacific Paint (Boysen) Philippines, Inc., shared that Filipinos are very expressive and we can see this through Filipino fashion and lifestyle.

So why not take this into the paint business?

“We want to help extend that ability to express themselves to the places where they live by letting them know what we think are the colors that are most likely to have an influence on living spaces this coming year,” says Ongking.

By incorporating global lifestyle trends with that of the Filipino way of life, as well as conducting extensive research with the help of international partners Nova Paint Club and a global color research company, four color themes have been forecasted for 2015: Naturist, Kinetic, Avant-Garde and Perfectionist.

“We’re hoping that however people see themselves and the world around them, these palettes can help them find the right colors to make their living spaces look good and make themselves feel good,” says Ongking.
