But more than that, it’s also about creating new platforms, making services more accessible to people, using social media intelligently and responsibly, and engaging with an audience to make change happen in the community.
On its second year, Rappler and PLDT SME Nations’s BeTheBoss awards continues to recognize Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the country who have the potential to make it big in the industry while utilizing available technology and starting their own ripple.
Over 600 nominations were crowd sourced from social media and were narrowed down to 12 finalists under 4 categories: Boss for Ecommerce, Boss for Social Media, Boss for Innovative Solutions and Boss for Social Responsibility.
A panel of esteemed industry leaders, as well as over 24,000 public votes, determined the winners that will be revealed during the awards night happening on Friday, September 9 from 6:30 to 11 pm at the Conrad Manila.
