New Jollibee Petron SLEX Southbound store is leveling up its customer experience

MANILA, Philippines – Last December 18, Jollibee opened the doors to its newest Level Up Joy Store, one catering to the popular fast-food chain’s southbound customers.

Located at the Petron SLEX in San Pedro, Laguna, this new Level Up Joy Store is also Jollibee’s 1200th  branch. And to celebrate this milestone – aside from the fresh, modern aesthetic of the store – the new branch is doubling down on the innovative features that Jollibee’s Level Up Joy stores have become famous for.

These are just some of the things you can experience at Jollibee Petron SLEX Southbound.

Breakthrough drive-thru

Jollibee Petron SLEX Southbound’s most notable feature is that it is the first fast-food chain in the country – and possibly Asia – to house a dual-lane drive-thru. The dual-lane drive-thru puts customers’ convenience at the forefront by featuring end-to-end innovations that significantly cut waiting time.

These features start with how each lane has dedicated ordering, payment, and pick-up counters. Service at these lanes are then made more efficient through the use of two key innovations: a food conveyor system and a drive-thru sensor system.

The Level Up Joy store’s food conveyor system is an automated overhead belt that delivers your favorite meals from inside the kitchen straight outside to the pick-up counters at the drive-thru.

The drive-thru sensor system, on the other hand, is an analytics platform that monitors waiting time and service speed. This helps the store crew be more mindful of their performance so they may pick up the pace when needed and manage orders better.

“With all the motorists and customers passing through the SLEX southbound highway every day, we have this unique opportunity to show them what the experience of our leveled-up Jollibee store is like,” said Jollibee Regional Business Unit Head for South Luzon Ana Aluyen.

These innovations, specifically the drive-thru lane sensor, are now being implemented at 200 Jollibee stores nationwide with plans to expand to more stores in the coming year.

In-store joys

As much as the Jollibee Level Up Store wants to provide a more joyful customer experience to those on the road, it also seeks to level up the convenience and service in-store. 

Inside the Level Up Joy Store, there are self-order kiosks that reduce the time spent falling in line. All you need to do is tap your Jollibee favorites on the screen to complete your order. The self-order kiosks are also integrated with multiple payment options. So you can also go cashless either via credit card, PayMaya, or Jollibee’s own Happy Plus Card. 

Friends and families are also encouraged to stay at the store a bit, whether it’s to enjoy their Jollibee meals at their own pace, to hang out, or just to recharge and take a break while traveling. The Jollibee Level Up store has special tables with built-in wireless charging where you can just place your phone on the pad while you eat.

Add to this the warm signature Alagang Jollibee service and your favorite Jollibee meals, and you’ve got a grand total customer experience waiting for you at Jollibee’s newest store.
