iprice group forges exclusive coupon serving partnership with Rappler
The Malaysia-based company’s first collaboration in the Philippines will give Rappler readers access to a variety of deals

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – iprice group, Southeast Asia’s largest e-commerce affiliate network has announced an exclusive partnership with Rappler.

A one-stop shopping destination that allows consumers to easily find any product online, iprice has established itself as a leader in the segment across seven markets including Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, and Hong Kong.

The iprice team develops its coupon portal in-house and is responsible for keeping it updated with the latest money saving coupons and promotional deals on a daily basis.

The partnership

This is iprice’s first collaborative effort in the Philippines and is set to create a dedicated deals and coupons section on the Rappler website.

“We are incredibly pleased to be teaming up with the Philippines’ largest social news network,” said David Chmelar, CEO and Co-founder, iprice group.

“Rappler’s emphasis on social sharing was the key driver that led us to completing this deal. We firmly believe that social channels are an integral part of growing the reach of our deals and promotions. iprice is all about making the online shopping experience better for the consumer, and we’re confident that this new partnership will do just that.”

Rappler is the first website outside of Malaysia to roll out the coupon and deal serving portal, Rappler Coupons. The portal will give Rappler readers direct access to the latest hand-picked coupons in nine categories from leading e-commerce stores in the country, such as Lazada, Zalora and Ensogo.

“We’re excited to help give our engaged community a chance to find great deals effortlessly!” said Rappler CEO and Executive Editor Maria Ressa. “It’s a natural extension of our ongoing experiment to understand how digital platforms are changing our lives. We’re happy to be working with a young, dynamic group like iprice that believes in the power of social media as much as we do.”— Rappler.com
