MANILA, Philippines – The De La Salle University College of Law (DLSU COL) formally launched the Diokno Legal Writing Competition on February 26, 2016 at the Learning Commons of DLSU’s Henry Sy Sr. Hall. 

This year’s theme is “Legal Aid in the Philippines: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow.” The contest is open to all law students of good standing who are currently enrolled in a Philippine law school. Mechanics for the contest are as follows: a law school may only have 3 participants, and essays expounding on the theme must be 700 to 1,300 words.

All entries, plus participants’ CVs, must be emailed to dioknolegalwriting@gmail.com on or before August 15, 2016.
