PH bags 35 math, science medals in Indonesia Olympiad

This is a news release from the Mathematics Trainers Guild-Philippines (MTG). 

Whiz kids from the Philippines won 35 medals in an international math and science contest held in Tangerang City, Indonesia.

The students took home 4 gold, 14 silver and 17 bronze medals in the 13th International Mathematics and Science Olympiad for Primary School 2016 (IMSO) held from November 9-13, according to Dr. Isidro Aguilar, team leader and president of the Mathematics Trainers Guild-Philippines (MTG).

Indonesian President Joko Widodo graced the opening ceremony of the contest.
