Using the bookstore as venue is absolutely free of charge

[Editor’s note: Got book-related events you want to hold? UPper Shelf can now be one of your venues. Below is their press release.]

MANILA, Philippines – The University of the Philippines Press (UP Press) is opening its doors to book clubs based in the Philippines.

Book clubs may now hold their events, absolutely FREE of charge at UPper Shelf, the first off-campus commercial bookstore of the UP Press.

In order to take advantage of this deal, a book club must choose a UP Press title and have it featured on their website, forum, social media account, and/or other platforms.

A book club must also feature their chosen title through an exclusive event which they will organize together with the UP Press team with UPper Shelf as their venue.  As highlight of the event, UP Press will invite as guest, the author of the book club’s chosen title.

For titles, check the UP Press catalogue at https://press.up.edu.ph/ and send inquiries to uppressbooks@yahoo.com.

UPper Shelf is located at Phase 2, Space no. C236, 2nd floor, UP Town Center, Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City. – Rappler.com
