PETA offers a new addition to its roster of classes this summer. As part of its Theater Arts Workshop, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London will conduct a short certificate course on Musical Theater.
RADA is one of the oldest drama schools in United Kingdom, having been founded in 1904. Some of its prominent alumni include Sir Anthony Hopkins, Clive Owen, Vivien Leigh, Tom Hiddleston, and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
The course is an intensive week-long training offered to professional singers and actors who have undergone formal vocal training and are intending to pursue a career in musical theater. Participants will work with RADA instructors on solo pieces, a duet or trio and an ensemble number.
Classes are on May 21 to May 26, 10:00am to 6:00pm. A certificate from RADA will be given upon completion of the course.
