Digital and social media leaders come together for #SHIFTDavao

DAVAO CITY, PHILIPPINES – Everyone wants to be heard nowadays. In the online universe, you can make your status/photo/video go live anytime you want it.

Among the speakers are Rappler CEO Maria Ressa and TechRap Producer Michael Josh Villuanueva, as well as Yvez Gonzalez of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority and Bianca Gonzalez of ABS-CBN. The other speakers are Luke Meinzen of the US Embassy, Secretary Lucille Sering of the Philippines’ Climate Change Commission, Robert Shore of Frame Works, and Jaypee David of Globe Telecom.

#SHIFTDavao will kickstart a nationwide movement to bring social media education not just to students, but to anyone who wants to harness the power of virtual to make a difference. The conference will tackle strategies and provide examples on how to create the right buzz for a cause, business, product, or service. #SHIFTDavao will start at 8:00 AM next Friday, July 27, at the Finster Auditorium, Ateneo de Davao University in Davao City.
