NHCP celebrates Bonifacio @ 150

Here's a list of activities to honor the 150th birth anniversary of Andres Bonifacio on November 30

MANILA, Philippines – The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) will host a series of events to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Andres Bonifacio on November 30.

The overwhelming response of our people to the need for assistance is not just a fitting backdrop to, but also the essence of the nation’s tribute to Bonifacio, who loved our country deeply and offered his life to build our nation.

Among the activities lined up from November 25 to December 4 are the following:

November 25-30 Exhibit on Andres Bonifacio and the Philippine Revolution at the Senate building (9 am-5 pm) and at SM Lucena City, Quezon (10 am-9 pm)
November 26-30 Exhibit of the winning entries of the commemorative stamp design contest at the NHCP Museo ng Katipunan, Pinaglabanan, San Juan City (9 am-5 pm) and at the NHCP, T.M. Kalaw St., Ermita, Manila
November 26-27 Pambansang kumperensya sa Kasaysayan at Historiograpiya, “Bonifacio@150: Dangal at Kabayanihan,” PUP Bulwagang Balagtas
