MANILA, Philippines – Do you want to learn about the latest developments in science and technology in the Philippines?
The University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) will be holding a Science and Technology Forum and Exhibit on March 4 to 5 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
This year’s theme “Making Science Work for Sustainable Development” will highlight the role of science and technology in envisioning and creating a sustainable future.
Aside from UPLB ’s research outputs and cutting edge inventions, the exhibit will feature 18 new and existing centers of interdisciplinary studies – think-tanks for the advancement of scientific and technical solutions for the challenges and problems the country is facing.
The forum and exhibit also serve as a prelude to the UPLB’s 105th Foundation Day set on March 6. – Rappler.com
