MANILA, Philippines – On Friday, March 21, AIESEC (Association Internationale des étudiants en Sciences Economiques et Commerciales) Philippines celebrates the youth’s efforts and triumphs in leadership in the first International Youth Leaders Conferece (IYLC) to be held at the Samsung Hall, Taguig City.

IYLC is part of the Asia Pacific Congress (APC), AIESEC’s largest regional conference with hundreds of international delegates from all over the globe. APC will be hosted this year by AIESEC Philippines.

The one-day conference carries the theme “leaving a legacy, living a legacy” and aims to engage the country’s notable leaders with the promising young people of today. It is divided into 4 blocks that explore self-leadership, communitarian leadership for nation builidng, and global engagement to ignite and mobilize change through a variety of talks, collaborative workshops and awards.

With the exchange of leadership experiences and knowledge between speakers and each delegate, IYLC envisions the creation of an empowered and united community of world-class youth leaders. They also want to recognize youth organizations that inspire positive change and impact through their strong ideals and admirable leadership.
