Esquire Financing Inc. launches business model competition for students

MANILA, Philippines – Do you have a unique business idea? Esquire Financing Inc. (EFI) has just launched Fueling the Dream, a business model competition for college students. Enter and you just might win P100,000 and up to P1 million in capital.

The competition is open to college students who will form teams of 3-5 members.  The challenge is to produce a model for a responsible and sustainable business based on the Business Model Canvas, a management and entrepreneurial tool that allows for strategic description, design and reinvention of a business model. 

Through this contest, EFI hopes to promote entrepreneurship among the youth. Thus, registered participants will not only gain experience, but also receive mentorship from EFI officers and event partners. Following the submission of business models in November are 2 rounds of preliminary screening, leading to the finals on December 6, Saturday, where finalists get to present their business model in front of a select panel of judges. 

Aside from the prize money, the winners will also get to be featured in Entrepreneur magazine.
