Giving back

The Vintage Bazaar is just the latest of Hands On Manila many initiatives to raise the profile of volunteering and service throughout the country. The organization has provided volunteer opportunities to help Filipinos give back to their communities in ways that matter.

It was founded on the premise that anyone can be of service.

Now in its 13th year, Hands On Manila continues to empower individuals and groups to contribute their time, talent, and resources to improve their communities through projects that promote sustainable development.

According to Gianna R. Montinola, Co-founder of Hands On Manila and current President, “The Vintage Bazaar requires an army of people to get things done. We are fortunate to have the support of long-standing Hands On Manila partners like the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the Philippine Star, Rappler, Rockwell Land Corporation and Ethos Creative Solutions.

Camille Samson, Hands On Manila board member and Vintage Bazaar Chair, adds “Like our volunteering projects, the bazaar is the latest of our many initiatives to raise the profile of volunteering and service throughout the country.  For this event we were fortunate enough to have generous friends and relatives who donated their brand new and gently used items, including treasures from their homes.”
