
Seniors, or those aged 60 and above, can ride for free the whole day on the LRT lines on October 4, in celebration of Elderly Filipino Week
MANILA, Philippines – The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) has announced that senior citizens – aged 60 and above – can ride for free on LRT1 and LRT2 on Saturday, October 4.
The LRTA announced on Facebook and Twitter that the day-long treat for seniors is in celebration of the Elderly Filipino Week, celebrated from October 1 to 7. The trains begin operations at 5 am.
It reminded the senior citizens to bring their valid Senior Citizen’s identification cards, or they cannot avail of the privilege. – Rappler.com
