What do the youth know about BBL?

MANILA, Philippines - UP Mindanawans, an academic-varsitarian organization in UP Los Banos (UPLB), will hold its Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) Lecture Series on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at the NCAS Auditorium in UPLB, College, Laguna.
The forum/lecture series will cater to the questions of students about the proposed law itself and on the Bangsamoro struggle. Several reactors from the academe and UPLB-based organizations will also take part in this event.
Speakers include Atty. Al Julkipli, a member of the Government of the Philippines (GPH) peace panel team, who will be talking about the comprehensive details of the BBL, and Allynna-Haneefa Macapado, Student Regent Nominee from UP Diliman and also Vice President for External Affairs of the UP Muslim Students Association, who will discuss the Bangsamoro Youth among others.
More than 300 youth are expected to attend the forum.
The UP Mindanawans have also uploaded a video that shows the Filipino youth's reaction to the bill.
The event is in partnership with University Student Council-UPLB, the Department of Social Sciences, and other student councils and organizations.
