De La Rosa St., Makati). The April 11 event at the Filipinas Heritage Library is open to the public and admission is free.

Bataan Legacy Historical Society’s mission is to educate the public on the historical significance of Bataan and World War II in the Philippines by presenting the war from different perspectives – Filipinos, Americans, soldiers, civilians and other nationalities. Bataan Legacy Historical Society was originally founded to address the lack of information on the Filipino defenders of Bataan.  Since its inception, its goal has evolved into educating the public about World War II in the Philippines from different points of view – Filipinos, Americans, soldiers and civilians. Its multimedia presentation depicts the war in the Philippines, set against the backdrop of world politics. It traces the origins of the war, the subsequent Fall of Bataan and why the Philippines was not saved until three years later. It is organizing a conference on October 24, 2015 and an exhibition that will open in September, 2015 until January, 2016.  Both events will take place at the San Francisco Main Public Library in California.
