YMTA launches Arts for Transparency competition
Press release: Arts for Transparency is a photo and video competition with 'Youth for Transparency' as its main theme

This is a press release from Transparency International-Philippines.

MANILA, Philippines – The Youth Movement for Transparency Asia-Pacific (YMTA) is holding its flagship project, Arts for Transparency (AfT), from 10 April-10 May 2015.

AfT is a photo and video competition with Youth for Transparency as its main theme. Citizens from YMTA member countries: the Philippines, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea and Vietnam are welcome to join.

The Youth Movement for Transparency Asia-Pacific (YMTA) is a 7-country strong network of young people committed to the global fight against corruption. Formed by 33 youth representatives in the first International Youth Camp in Cambodia last January 2015, YMTA aims to engage youth in the practice of transparency, integrity and accountability through various activities. It is the first official youth arm of Transparency International (TI), the global civil society organization leading the fight against corruption with over 90 chapters worldwide.

In the Philippines, YMTA’s activities are being led by the youth representatives of Transparency International-Philippines (TI-PH), the local Chapter of TI. TI-PH strongly encourages Filipino youth to join the competition to showcase their talents and support for transparency in our society.
