Up for an adventure? Try the Survibands Adventure Expo

MANILA, Philippines — Are you a survivor? 

If you are, then come to “SurviBands Adventure Expo,” an event designed to revive the lost art of the great outdoors.

The SurviBands Adventure Expo is a first of its kind, featuring outdoor activities like Traditional Archery, Slingshot, Axe Throwing, and 22LR Rifle Marksmanship, to name a few. Participants and guests will get to experience these traditional outdoor skills and learn more survival and preparedness skills from experts in the fields of Disaster Management, First Aid, Knot tying, Street Defense, and a lot more!

The 2-day event slated for July 11-12, will be held at the Armscor Shooting Ranges in Parang, Marikina. It is organized by SurviBands Enterprises together with Armscor Shooting Ranges Incorporated, Philippine Airsoft Practical Shooting, and JJ Events.

Traditional weaponry is fast becoming a curiosity given the popularity of Hollywood films that feature archery and the like. People have always been meaning to try but don’t really know where to go. This is their chance to finally see for themselves how it feels like to draw that bow or throw that axe.

But the expo mainly aims to reacquaint the youth with good old fashioned, physically demanding outdoor activities, while also weaning them away from too much gadgetry. Hopefully, these could foster stronger family bonds. Adults and children alike could appreciate activities lined up for them. 

It’s really about having fun while learning the “old school” ways.

Also part of the event is the Adventure Bazaar where a variety of outdoor products, survival items and other cool stuff will be available.
