Typhoon Falcon: Areas where sea travel is suspended

MANILA, Philippines – Here is a list of areas where sea travel has been suspended on Thursday, July 9, due to Typhoon Falcon (international name Chan-Hom). 

• Around Central Visayas – trips for all small vessels (below 250 gross tonnage, including motorbancas and fastcraft ferries)
• small vessels with the Cebu-Bohol and Cebu-Ormoc routes
• small vessels with the Santander, Cebu to Dumaguete route
• trips of small vessels in Bantayan Island
• Batanes – trips of passenger boats
• Calayan Island, Cagayan – trips of passenger boats
• Divilacan, Isabela – trips of passenger boats from Aurora
• Maconacon, Isabela – trips of passenger boats from Aurora
• Palanan, Isabela – trips of passenger boats from Aurora
• Dinapigue, Isabela – trips of passenger boats from Aurora

The typhoon has slightly intensified on Thursday afternoon. The next bulletin on Falcon will be issued by state weather bureau PAGASA at 11 pm. – with reports from Dale Israel and Raymon Dullana/Rappler.com
