The flights will be reduced to 4x weekly from 7x effective September 1

This was from a press release on Monday, August 6.

CLARK – Philippines’ AirAsia will be repositioning its flight frequencies from Clark International Airport to Puerto Princesa from 7x weekly to 4x weekly effective 1st September, 2012 in a business decision due to the current low season as well as part of the airline’s preparations for further growth.

The Clark – Puerto Princesa route was introduced in April as the 3rd domestic route for Philippines’ AirAsia, after Davao and Kalibo which were introduced in March.

Philippines’ AirAsia will now operate the Clark – Puerto Princesa route on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Flight timings for this route remain unaffected by this reduction of frequency.

Guests who are affected by this change will be offered 3 options:

  • a full refund of their flight bookings
  • a credit shell of the value of their flight bookings which is valid for 3 months
  • an option to change their flight date without any costs, subject to availability

An email will be sent to the affected guests’ registered member email account with a link to AirAsia’s Flight Interruption System from 8th August onwards, where they are able to select their preferred service recovery option.

Affected guests will also receive an SMS notification of the frequency reduction.

Guests who do not receive any notification after three weeks are advised to tweet AirAsia at twitter.com/AskAirAsia, or reach us via Live Chat, submit an Online Feedback Form or walk in to any of our AirAsia Travel & Service Centers located in SM North EDSA in Quezon City, Mall of Asia in Pasay City and in Gaisano Mall in Davao City.

They can also contact our call centres at +632 588 9999 with their booking reference numbers and contact details in hand.
