KABUHAYAN NATIONAL LIVELIHOOD.This year's trade fair by the Congressional Spouses Foundation will showcase products from different parts of the Philippines.

MANILA, Philippines – The Congressional Spouses Foundation Incorporated (CSFI) is set to hold its biggest  fund raising event via the Kabuhayan National Livelihood trade fair from October 15-18 at the Megatrade Hall 2, 5th level of SM Megamall.

The event will be led by Quezon City Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte, president and chairperson of the foundation. 

The trade  fair will will showcase different Philippines products in 97 booths.

The guest speaker at the event will be Amor Maclang, Director GeiserMaclang Marketing Communications, Incorporated.

Some of the products expected to be showcased at the fair are native delicacies, leather goods, banig (woven mats), woven baskets, among others.

Belmonte said in that the trade fair will give people the chance to look for gifts for the upcoming Christmas season.

“The Christmas countdown has begun and everyone is invited to shop for cause at Kabuhayan 2015” she said. “We would like to celebrate the success of our local artisans and entrepreneurs by promoting their products and at the same time support underprivileged children through our partnership with World Vision."

The CSFI is  the non-stock, non-profit organization led by the spouses, siblings and children of members of the House of Representatives that conducts socio-civic activities to help reduce poverty, foster education, rehabilitate abused women, promote tourism and sharing of best practices across regions. – Rappler.com
