This is a press release from De La Salle University - Manila’s Business Management Society.
In its 35th year, the Business Management Society (BMS) of De La Salle University will be conducting its first fundraising event for this academic year and its first-ever online bazaar activity, dubbed "Bistro Boulevard: Beyond Flavors."
Revolving around the themes, “A Taste of Ambition," “A Taste of Dedication," and “A Taste of Innovation," the activity aims to give future food business owners and enthusiasts a glimpse of how they can start their own business and have their food aspirations come to life.
Moreover, it aims to promote local startup ventures, which is why the spotlight will be focused on the local food industry, particularly on small food businesses.
The event will be featuring a one-day webinar, which will happen on Saturday, May 8 from 1 pm to 4 pm via Zoom.
This will be followed by a one-week online food bazaar, which will happen from Sunday, May 9 until Saturday, May 15.
A total of 47 food concessionaires will be participating in this event, offering its customers various meals, snacks, beverages, and desserts with plenty of food choices to choose from.
20% of the proceeds will then be donated to the BMS's beneficiary: Jaime Hilario Integrated School La Salle. Currently, 5 scholars from this Lasallian school are being supported by BMS to pursue their education.
