PRESS RELEASE: The 34th staging of DBTC's annual event is set on the eve of the feast day of its patron St John Bosco

This a press release from the Don Bosco Mandaluyong Alumni Association.

Despite the physical restrictions due to the raging coronavirus pandemic, the 2021 edition of the Don Bosco Mandaluyong annual alumni homecoming will still be held – albeit purely online.

Don Bosco Mandaluyong’s first ever virtual homecoming is set Saturday, January 30 and will be accessible both on Zoom and the livestreamed on DBMAAI Facebook.

All past pupils on Don Bosco Technical College are encouraged to pre-register here or check out the registration details here.

Don Bosco Mandaluyong Alumni Association president Fletcher Von Aquino said they considered postponing the 34th staging of the annual homecoming, but there was a clamor to continue with the yearly tradition.

On the plus side, even Bosconians from overseas can join this online gathering which will open with a Holy Mass at 5 pm to be presided over by Fr. Ronilo Javines SDB, the current rector of Don Bosco Technical College.

The DB Manda alumni homecoming is traditionally held on the Saturday nearest to the feast day of the school’s patron, St John Bosco, on January 31. – Rappler.com
