MANILA, Philippine (UPDATED) – A day after the Anti-Cybercrime Law took effect, the National Statistics Office (NSO) launched the redesign of its website, www.census.gov.ph, that incorporates safeguards against hacking.

The NSO is the major statistical agency responsible in collecting, compiling, classifying, producing, publishing, and disseminating general-purpose statistics as provided for in Commonwealth Act (CA) No. 591.
NSO is also responsible for carrying out and administering the provisions of the Civil Registry Law as provided for in Act No. 3753 dated February 1931.
