MANILA, Philippines – The Mandaluyong branches of actor and chef-entrepreneur Marvin Agustin’s chain of restaurants are the top taxpayers in 2011, according to a list released by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Department of Finance.

Agustin has stakes in Japanese-American restaurant SumoSam, Filipino restaurant Café Ten Titas (his tribute to his 10 aunties), and Smairu, which in total paid over P2 million taxes in 2011.
