‘Pablo’ cancels dozens of Visayas, Mindanao flights

MANILA, Philippines – Dozens of flights Tuesday, December 4, have been canceled due to typhoon Pablo (Bopha).

As of Monday evening, Cebu Pacific Air canceled the following flights:

The airline added the following flight cancellations on Tuesday morning:

  • 5J379/380 MNL-CGY-MNL
  • 5J383/384 MNL-CGY-MNL
  • 5J844/845 ZAM-CGY-ZAM
  • 5J593/594 CEB-DVO-CEB
  • 5J963/964 MNL-DVO-MNL
  • 5J205/206 CEB-CGY-CEB
  • 5J617/618 MNL-TAG-MNL

AirPhil Express has cancelled a total of 35 flights on Tuesday:

From Manila to:

  • Caticlan (all 10 flights)
  • Cagayan de Oro (3 flights)
  • Dumaguete (2 flights)
  • Ozamiz
  • Butuan
  • Cotabato
  • Dipolog
  • Surigao

From Cebu to:

  • Butuan
  • Cagayan de Oro
  • Davao
  • General Santos
  • Iloilo
  • Kalibo
  • Legazpi
  • Ozamiz
  • Pagadian
  • Puerto Princesa
  • Surigao
  • Tacloban
  • Zamboanga.


Also cancelled are the Caticlan-Cebu and Cebu-Hong Kong flights, the airline announced.

Philippine Airlines, meanwhile, has cancelled two domestic flights to Davao City, but will upgrade the aircraft of two subsequent flights to the city to accommodate the passengers of the cancelled trips.
