The redevelopment of Greenhills will also include a new P1.4 billion-worth supermarket that will have have 12,000 square meters of shopping space.

Ko said Tiendesitas will still offer the best of Filipino handicrafts, furniture, fashion, entertainment and a unique pet village. 

But the shopping center will be upgraded to include air-conditioning, second level shopping space, escalators and elevators, and balconies that provide an indoor/outdoor feel.

Building A will be open to the public by June 2013, while Buildings B and C will be open by October 2015 and May 2014, respectively.

Ko said Estancia will feature high-end but non-luxurious brands. She said Ortigas & Company is already in talks with several foreign brands to come in and open stores in Estancia.
