MANILA, Philippines – Andrew Tan-led Alliance Global Group Incorporated (AGI) said it will roll out a 5-year program to future-proof its businesses.
In a statement on Thursday, June 20, AGI chief executive officer Kevin Andrew Tan said that their Innovation and Digital Transformation Program will focus on developing and enhancing “innovative solutions.”
The goal is to increase the use of smart home technologies, e-commerce, and property technology.
“Part of the program is to be able to partner with relevant providers and technology-makers. Our vision is to make each company become ready for the future of business in the next 10 years,” said Tan.
Under the program, AGI said it will form a core group made up by representatives from companies under the conglomerate. These representatives will engage in knowledge transfer and collaboration.
AGI also plans to look for new technological innovations and companies to invest in to “support and improve [its] current business operations, and at the same time, make them profitable businesses on their own,” said Tan.
