MANILA, Philippines – After more than two decades, the Philippines hosts the 23rd World Economic Forum on East Asia. The event was kicked off by Vice President Jejomar Binay, who facilitated the welcoming ceremonies held at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.
The WEF is an international institution that aims to develop advanced schemes in the global trade through public-private cooperation.
This year’s WEF on East Asia discusses barriers to globalization, gender issues, climate disturbance, government transparency, and major economic challenges.
