Now that the Fair Competition Act has been ratified, when will the bill be signed into law?
Rappler talked to Senator Bam Aquino, Chair of the Senate Committee on Trade, Commerce and Entrepreneurship.
Aquino authored the Fair Competition Act of 2014, which he earlier said is “pro-poor, pro-people, and pro-business.” It has successfully passed through the Senate, and the House of Representatives approved the bill on its third reading.
Aquino says the Fair Competition Bill is “a big win for the Philippine economy, for local businesses, and for every Filipino consumer.” How is it so?
