Passengers departing from the Clark International Airport in Pampanga will no longer pay their terminal fee over the counter, as it would be included in the cost of their airline tickets starting January 1, 2021.
Both domestic and international passenger service charges or terminal fees will be included in ticket costs, which means travelers will no longer line up to pay for the fees. They would just need to go to airline counters to secure a boarding pass.
A total of 17 airlines signed the memorandum of agreement with Luzon International Premier Airport Development Corporation, the operator of the airport, for the arrangement.
For passengers who bought their tickets before the effectivity date, there are still payment counters inside the terminal.
Among those who are exempted from paying terminal fees are infants below two years old for both domestic and international flights, and overseas Filipino workers for international flights. – Rappler.com
