Internet fiber broadband provider Converge ICT Solutions has a new product offering for residential customers, allowing them to have boosted speeds at cheaper prices.
On Wednesday, March 10, Converge launched Time of Day, which gives customers twice the subscribed speed when they need it the most.
Subscribers have two options: the Day plan is for boosted speeds from 7 am to 6:59 pm, while the Night plan covers 7 pm to 6:59 am.
Plans start at P1,899 for 35 megabits per second (Mbps) of regular speed, with the boosted speed at 70 Mbps. Here are the rest:
- P2,899 for 100 Mbps regular speed, boosted speed at 200 Mbps
- P3,899 for 200 Mbps regular speed, boosted speed at 400 Mbps
- P4,899 for 400 Mbps, boosted speed at 800 Mbps
Converge product management head Gilbert Virtucio said existing subscribers will only have to pay for the difference of the plans’ security deposit, as well as the price difference if they upgrade to a higher plan.
Virtucio added that there would be a 12-month period where subscribers cannot switch from Day to Night plans, or vice versa. But if needed, they would have to pay a small fee.
After the lock-in period, any changes to the plan will be free of charge.
Converge is still offering its Fiber X and Xtreme service, starting at P1,500 per month for 35 Mbps up to P7,000 for 800 Mbps.
This flexibility feature is also available for enterprise and small business subscribers. – Rappler.com
