Dito Telecommunity will be offering its services in 21 new areas starting Friday, November 12

Third telco player Dito Telecommunity said Tuesday, November 9, that it has reached 4 million subscribers.

Dito chief administrative officer Adel Tamano said the telco reached the milestone on Monday, November 8.

“We in Dito are humbled by the overwhelming support the Filipino people have shown these past months and we are inspired to push further in bringing the fast, affordable, and world-class connectivity that the Filipinos truly deserve as we are well on track to hit our 5-million subscriber target by end of 2021,” said Tamano.

So far, Dito said it has already constructed over 3,300 towers. It is targeting to build a total of 4,500 by the end of the year, to cover 50% of the Philippine population as part of its third-year commitment to the national government.

Starting Friday, November 12, Dito will be expanding its coverage to the following areas:

  6. Burgos, Pangasinan
  7. Umingan, Pangasinan

  11. Hermosa, Bataan
  12. Gumaca, Quezon
  13. Plaridel, Quezon
  14. Macalelon, Quezon
  15. Mabini, Batangas
  16. Lumban, Laguna
  17. Santa Elena, Camarines Norte
  18. San Fernando, Camarines Sur
  19. Baco, Oriental Mindoro
  20. Socorro, Oriental Mindoro
  21. Talisay City, Negros Occidental
