MANILA, Philippines – About 10 British companies have expressed interest in doing business in the Philippines, banking on the positive outlook for the country's economic growth.

British Chamber of Commerce Philippines (BCCP) chairman Chris Nelson told reporters in a luncheon meeting Thursday, July 30, that more British companies will scout for business ventures here next month.

For this year, the biggest European chamber in the Philippines, BCCP, will hold two trade missions in September and November to help British firms to explore business opportunities in the country.

"For the September trade mission, around 7 to10 [delegates] are coming; but we are hoping to exceed that," Nelson said.
