
Telco giant Globe Telecom on Thursday, November 19, said its postpaid customers can modify their plan depending on their financial situation under the new “financial care program.”
Globe said postpaid, platinum, and broadband users have the following options:
- Lower their plans
- Disconnect their account temporarily
- Transfer the ownership, among others
Interested customers can apply for the program through the “Account Requests” section of the GlobeOne app or fill out the form here. A Globe representative will reach out to discuss the available options.
Under the new program, customers who have applied and completed their installment payments and those whose accounts were disconnected may ask Globe for further assistance.
“Filipinos are facing multiple difficulties and are struggling to hold on to what they have at the moment,” said Rebecca Eclipse, Globe chief customer experience officer.
“We understand that many of them worry about their finances, and we hope to extend our help while at the same time, keep them connected so they can continue to do the things that matter to them,” she added. – Rappler.com
