Globe Telecom is launching a new service which would allow subscribers to make their own promo.
Dubbed GoCREATE, the new feature lets prepaid users customize their promo subscription on the updated GlobeOne app, depending on their needs.
Globe Prepaid brand head Eric Tanbauco said on Monday, September 13, that for example, users can choose how much data they need and on which app the allocation would be used.
Since users have control over the promo they create, they can also insert other items such as unlimited calls to all networks. Customers can also choose promo validity of either 3, 7, or 15 days.
Tanbauco said any promo created comes with free unlimited text messages to all networks.
“We think it’s also important for our customers to have control over their promos.… They have their own say on what goes in their promo,” said Tanbauco in a mix of English and Filipino.
Shop & Pay
Globe vice president for retail sales operations Gino Guinto on Monday also launched the Shop & Pay booth.
Guinto said the booth allows customers to be distanced from others while doing their transactions at the telco’s stores.
Customers, through the Shop & Pay booth, can get a mobile or broadband plan, a handset, apparel, and merchandise, as well as pay bills, buy load, or cash in via GCash.
Globe will be celebrating its annual “917” event on Friday, September 17, where the telco will show its appreciation to customers. The event is inspired by the telco’s long-standing prefix 0917.
Aside from the new store feature and prepaid offering, Globe will also host an amateur gaming tournament called the G Legends Cup, G Chance the Raffle, G Super Sale, G Business Summit, and G Music Fest. Customers’ contributions to the program will go to the telco’s partner beneficiaries.
The telco also urged users to donate to its partners through their Globe Rewards points, to back causes such as education, environment, and poverty reduction. – Rappler.com
