AyosDito, OLX merge into single platform
MANILA, Philippines – The two biggest classified ads websites in the Philippines, OLX and AyosDito.ph, have merged into a single platform for Filipinos to sell their items.
Beginning January 22, visitors to AyosDito will be redirected to the OLX website.
OLX said in their FAQ that the move will lead to shared expertise and knowledge to effectively educate the market about online classified ads.
The also increase the number of successful transactions for every user as they now have a larger abundance of items and sellers under a single brand.
Ads from AyosDito will not be automatically transferred to the new site. Instead, users will be sent an e-mail regarding the ads they want to transfer to OLX. Users of OLX won’t have to worry about anything as all their information and ads will be intact.
OLX is an international company founded in 2006, and is used in 106 countries, making it one of the largest classified ads websites in the world. It merged with Sulit.com.ph back in March. – Rappler.com
