Ayala Land to operate mall at Solaire
MANILA, Philippines – Bloomberry Resorts Corporation announced Tuesday, May 13, it had partnered with Ayala Land Incorporated to operate the retail component within its $1.2 billion (P52.5 billion) project, the Solaire Resort & Casino.
In a joint disclosure to the stock exchange, Bloomberry said Ayala Land will be leasing and marketing 5,000 square meters of the gross leasable area opening under Phase 1-A of the Solaire expansion project.
“The retail component will have premium brands to complete the offering of Solaire Resort & Casino,” Bloomberry said.
Bloomberry is currently expanding the 8.3-hectare Solaire Resorts. The expansion involves building 300 additional all-suite hotel rooms as well as a shopping center with 30 to 40 high-end shops.
Also slated for construction are 3,000 parking spaces, a 1,800-seating entertainment theater, a night club, and additional restaurants.
The expansion projects, which cost $500 million, are expected to be finished by the last quarter of 2014. – Rappler.com
