Mall advisories during GCQ with heightened restrictions

Metro Manila will return to lockdown starting August 6, and only essential activities such as buying groceries can be done outside people’s homes.

Until then, additional restrictions will be in place as the capital region is placed under general community quarantine “with heightened restrictions” until August 5.

Megaworld Lifestyle Malls announced on Friday, July 30, that it would be implementing operational adjustments until August 5, in line with pandemic curbs.

It said that vaccination centers are open in some of its malls for those with confirmed schedules.

Food and essential deliveries can also be booked through Pick.A.Roo, Megan, and other apps.

SM Supermalls, in a Facebook post on Friday, said that vaccination would continue in its malls nationwide.

Malls in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, and Laguna are open from 10 am to 8 pm on Mondays to Thursdays and until 9 pm on Fridays to Sundays.

SM malls in Cavite, meanwhile, are open from 10 am to 7 pm on Mondays to Thursdays and until 8 pm on Fridays to Sundays.

Its three-day sale in select branches will also continue until Sunday, August 1. SM has since reminded the public to abide by minimum health standards. – Rappler.com
