MANILA, Philippines – Flag carrier Philippine Airlines Incorporated (PAL) will fly daily from Clark International Airport in Pampanga to Siargao Airport in Surigao del Norte starting July 1.

PAL announced on Saturday, June 30, that the Clark-Siargao daily service will use the new generation Q400 turboprop aircrafts it acquired from manufacturer Bombardier.

PAL also announced that starting October 28 this year, regular flights will also be launched from Clark to San Vicente in Northern Palawan, Cauayan in Isabela, and San Jose in Mindoro.

The flag carrier said it will fly twice daily to San Vicente. There will be 6 flights to Cauayan per week while San Jose flights will be 8 times a week.

The new routes from Clark International Airport will all use the new 86-seater Bombardier Q400.

PAL said two new generation Q400 arrived in May and June, with a total of 7 operational Q400s when they first acquired the new planes in July 2017. Next year, 5 more Q400s will be delivered.

Currently, PAL flies to a total of 19 destinations from Clark International Airport – flying to 18 domestic destinations and an international route to South Korea. – Rappler.com
