IN PHOTOS: Susan Roces, Grace Poe lead star-studded FPJ tribute movie screening

MANILA, Philippines – It was a star-studded affair at the tribute screening of Fernando Poe Jr’s Ang Probinsyano on August 20, held in honor of the late actor’s birthday. (READ: Maja Salvador, Coco Martin to co-star in ‘Ang Probinsyano’ TV remake)

The screening was also held in light of the TV series re-make of the movie, starring Maja Salvador and Coco Martin. The TV remake is the first time in 4 years that Coco and Maja will be on screen together. Members of the cast were at the event, along with some of FPJ’s family. Ang Probinsyano is about a provincial cop (Fernando Poe Jr) trying to capture the people responsible for his brother’s death. The movie was directed by FPJ himself.
