MANILA, Philippines – What if Harry Potter were the bad guy all along? A fan-made trailer by YouTube channel BloodBlitz Comedy was put up on August 24, and shows us exactly what it would look like if The Boy Who Lived was actually The Boy Who Kills. The video took clips of Harry’s less noble moments from the movies – blowing up his aunt and swearing to kill a framed Sirius Black in The Prisoner of Azkaban – and put them together to make it look like Harry was the antagonist. (WATCH: ‘Taylor Swift and Harry Potter parody mashup’)
“It is not in the nature of Harry Potter to be forgiving,” Dumbledore, Harry’s mentor and headmaster of the wizarding school Hogwarts, is heard saying. The line originally has “a dementor” instead of Harry’s name, referring to the magical monsters that suck out people’s souls if left alone for too long.
