Here’s a full recap:
Day 2: Sunday, August 30
The energy was especially high at the beginning, as hosts introduced the kids and judges.
The partial results were shown without revealing the identities of the kids. Here they are:
- 15.72 – K
- 31.87 – I
- 8.54 – D
- 43.86 – S
Day 1 saw the kids sing in two rounds: one with a guest artist, and another upbeat number. Voting commenced and concluded in the same evening.
Day 2 had the kids singing in the final round, performing power ballads. Voting would begin later, then conclude immediately after.
Sassa was first up, singing “Next In Line.”
“World-class talent. Every song that you sing, you make it your own, and that’s what I love about you,” Sarah Geronimo told her.
“You at 12 years old, nahanap mo na boses mo…we’re saying, you are next in line for stardom. This is your time,” Bamboo said.
For his final song, Reynan sang a rousing version of “Magkaisa.” Sarah G told Reynan that the innocence in his voice and in the way he performed was something that she truly enjoyed.
Lea told Reynan that this was his best rendition of the song – and that’s saying something, considering Reynan’s strong lineup of performances this season.
Elha performed “Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin.”
“Sa totoo lang, wala akong masabi. Elha, pinatuyan mo sa aming lahat na hindi ka lang puro birit, isa kang mang-aawit na punung-puno ng puso pag umaawit. You’re a good storyteller,” Sarah told Elha.
(Truthfully, I’m speechless. Elha, you showed us all that you aren’t only all about those big notes, you’re a singer who’s full of heart.)
“Pilipinas, please, magtiwala kayo sa narinig niyo, sa nakita niyo, sa naramdaman mo. She is a very special singer. Undeniable, undeniable.
(Philippines, please, trust in what you heard, what you saw, what you felt.)
“This show is called The Voice, and who deserves to win the show, and I see a voice in front of me who deserves this. She is the voice in my book,” Bamboo said, asking the country to vote for Elha.
Up next, Esang sang “Somewhere.”
“Grabe ka talaga Esang….saludo ako sa ‘yo,” said Sarah.
“You are versatile, musical, intelligent, and you’re 8 years old, and you’re a star! You deserve to win this championiship because you have everything that singers dream of,” Lea told her, rallying the crowd to vote for Esang.
Voting lines then opened.
While audiences voted, the kids performed a medley of songs, followed by a special performance from the judges, a collaboration between Jonathan Manalo and Yeng Constantino.
Winners were finally announced, with Elha taking the top spot with a whopping 42.16% of the votes. Reynan came in second, with 31.64% of the votes, Esang in 3rd place with 18.16% of the votes, and Sassa with 8.04% of the votes.
Coach Bamboo proudly stood by Elha, introducing her before she took to the stage for a celebratory final round, singing “Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin.”
Day 1: Saturday, August 29
The evening began with the 4 kids – Reynan, Esang, Elha and Sassa, performing with season 1 winners Lyca Gairanod, Darren Espanto, JK Labajo and Darlene Vibares to the song “Verge.”
Hosts Luis Manzano, Yeng Constantino and Robi Domingo introduced the coaches. Luis then explained that text voters will only have one text vote for Saturday and Sunday, August 30 after each performance. There will be two rounds – the power ballads and the duet with the artists.
For day one, the Top 4 performed with their artists followed by the upbeat performances.
Reynan Dal-Anay
Reynan was the first to sing with Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano. The two performed a modern version of “Babalik Ka Rin.”
During part of the show, members of the Manobo tribe also performed a tribal dance to the song.
Sarah said that it was the perfect combination, commenting that Reynan sang with his heart.
Lea said that she was pleased that Reynan listened to her and that he was not afraid to perform with Gary.
Elha Nympha
Elha was the second to perform with Jed Madela. The two performed “Narito.” During rehearsals, Bamboo was sick when Jed dropped by so the practice was between Jed and Elha. Elha said the song is perfect and dedicated it to her father.
Sarah said that Elha blew her and everyone else away with her performance.
Bamboo said that he loved her performance and praised Elha for performing with her heart.
Esang de Torres
Esang was the third performer of the night with Billy Crawford. The two performed Bruno Mars’ “Count on Me.”

Billy asked Esang who was better-looking – him or Luis.
Sarah said it was refreshing to see Esang’s performance because they normally hear Esang sing songs beyond her age.
Lea meanwhile said it was the most fun performance she saw onstage, it was refreshing to hear Esang sing a song that reminded them that she was only 8 years old.
Sassa Dagdag
Sassa was the last to perform with Sharon Cuneta. The two performed “Ikaw.”
Sharon was very happy to learn Sassa was from Pampanga, since Sharon traced her family’s roots to the province.
Sarah praised Sharon before commending Sassa, who she said did very well and challenged herself in performing the song.
Bamboo said he was very proud of Sassa. He knew she was nervous but he was very pleased she made the song her own.
For her upbeat performance, Esang performed ABBA’s “Dancing Queen.”
Sassa meanwhile performed her version of Nicki Minaj’s “Starships.”
