Taylor Swift wins 3 awards at the show

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED)–  Taylor Swift was this year’s big winner at the MTV Video Music Awards held, Sunday August 30 (Monday,  August 31 Manila time.) ( FULL LIST: Nominees, MTV Video Music Awards 2015)

Miley Cyrus hosted the event with performances by Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift. Pharell Williams also performed. Miley herself performed onstage to close the show.

Rapper Kanye West received this year’s Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
