MANILA, Philippines – It was a hard-earned victory for 11-year-old Elha Nympha, named the winner of The Voice Kids Philippines season 2. (FULL RECAP: ‘The Voice Kids PH 2’ Grand finals)

The young star, often called the “biriterang banana cue vendor ng Quezon City” on the show, beat out fellow teammate Sassa Dagdag and Team Lea singers Esang de Torres and Reynan Dal-Anay for the top spot, earning a slew of prizes and the ultimate victory.

“I’m speechless. I’m just very happy for Elha,” said Bamboo after the announcement. “Ladies and gentlemen, my grand champion [on] The Voice [Kids] – Elha!” he said.

Elha took the top spot with a whopping 42.16% of the votes. Reynan came in second, with 31.64% of the votes, Esang in 3rd place with 18.16% of the votes, and Sassa with 8.04% of the votes.

She has always been consistent as a singer, first catching the attention of coach Bamboo at the blind auditions with a cover of Mariah Carey’s “Vision of Love,” nailing the signature whistle notes.

But she really came into her own in the semifinal and final rounds, delivering textured performances and sliding easily into the more difficult parts of the songs.

Meanwhile, Sassa, Esang, and Reynan have much to be proud of as each young artist showcased versatility and pure talent throughout the different rounds.
