MANILA, Philippines – Adele’s “Hello” isn’t the only song with that title. Lionel Richie released his iconic “Hello” in 1984, and more than one fan thought back to that track when they heard Adele’s newest release.

What does Lionel think? The singer posted a photo of his music video beside Adele’s with the caption “HELLO @adele is it me you’re looking for…”

Adele’s “Hello” music video came after her announcement that she’s releasing her first album in 4 years, titled 25. On her social media post about the album, the singer, whose previous album was about a break up, called it a “make-up record,” saying, “I’m making up with myself. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did.”
