MANILA, Philippines – John Philip “Balang” Bughaw, the young boy who got everyone talking about his dance moves, appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ show for the second time Monday, November 16. Like his previous guesting, it was full of fun, laughter, and a lot of dancing.

In his interview with Ellen (accompanied by an interpreter), Balang, now 7 years old, gave an update on what he has been doing since he first appeared on the show. Balang said that people approach him for pictures now, and he continues to do his dancing videos.

“He’s doing good, we make more videos, and sometimes even though we are in the train, a lot of people want to have picture with him and they would say ‘Oh, we saw you on the Ellen show,” said the interpreter.

He then performed Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” onstage.

But that’s not all. Ellen also posted a dance-off between Balang and the show’s resident DJ tWitch, to “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” by Silento.

Balang also said he has been teaching Zumba.

Nagtuturo po ako ng Zumba para healthy tayong lahat!” said Balang. (I teach Zumba so all of us can be healthy). Here are some photos of Balang at one of his Zumba classes:

When asked if he got paid for that, he said yes and that he even bought a bike with his earnings. Later, Ellen gave Balang an exercise bike so he can continue to ride even if the weather isn’t ideal.

Last May, Balang appeared on the show, dancing to “Bang Bang.” He was previously rewarded by Ellen with chocolates.

Balang has previously appeared on It’s Showtime’s “Mini Me” segment. – Rappler.com
