WATCH: One Direction in ‘Carpool Karaoke’ with James Corden

MANILA, Philippines – James Corden had more than one carpool buddy in his latest “Carpool Karaoke” segment – the boys of One Direction all piled into his car into his car in the Tuesday, December 15 episode of The Late Late Show.

With Niall Horan riding shotgun and Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, and Liam Payne in the back, James and the boys sang along to a bunch of 1D songs, including a throwback to their first hit, “What Makes You Beautiful.”

James even tried convincing the boys to take him in as a 5th member by getting them to do a choreographed dance. After performing their single “No Control” in matching outfits, James said, “I don’t know about you, but I think you should rethink this hiatus, because it feels right… It just feels like we’ve really hit upon something unbelievable.” (READ: One Direction breaks streaming record with surprise song)

After releasing their latest labum, Made in the AM, One Direction is taking a one-year break instead of going on tour, as they usually do.
